21 Mar Slums and super yachts
Its been a bizzare month ….. Having just got back from Cambodia and Thailand , I had a day off to recharge gear, wash clothes play with the kiddies ¬†, and then straight on to catching up with work on a super yacht project we have been working on for the the past two and a half years It is a bizzare feeling to Photograph ¬†from some of the poorest places on Earth , then over night be ¬†photographing some of the most expensive ¬†floating real estate in the world ¬†, Vertigo is a Yacht that has been built in New Zealand ¬†Alloy Yachts in Henderson , and the word Stunning does not even come close to describing ¬†. we ( my wife) and I have been shooting a small doco on the Yacht as well as a coffee table book .
we where there when the very first cut was made in a hunk of Aluminum   right the way through to the day of the Launch so we are now 90 % through with a heilcopter shoot latter next week , must admit will be a bit sorry to see it leave NZ shores  as after two and a half years I have quite attached to it ..
