Not Bad for a day Job

Not Bad for a day Job

One of the Things I sometimes take for Granted as a photographer is that is a pretty cool line of work ,as a photographer you get to have a little glimpse of other peoples life that I would not have had a chance to if I wasnt a photographer , one of those moments was a couple week ago on a assignment with Bloomberg who I have worked with for over 10 years , the assignment was to shoot the Ports of Auckland , as a lad I had always wanted to have a ride in a straddle crane the big yellow things that shoot around the ports that would not look out of place on a Starwars set .

so I got to spend a bit of time with the drivers of the cranes and got to understand the logistics that go into unloading and loading of a Ship , have to say what a great bunch of guys and a rather impressive system they have operating there
