“Cold and very wet water”

“Cold and very wet water”

one of the jobs I have done lately  (and another favorite client) is Surf lifesaving New Zealand . A few weeks back we shot a few picture for a new manual . Surf life saving  the service will start using jet skis a cross the country , to use alongside there IRB  boats .

I have great admiration for these guys they do a great job during the summer and have to deal with more than there fair share of idiots  .

most of the pictures where shot with a canon 500mm and a 1.4 convertor  on a 7d (a a few with the canon 1 d  mark4)  giving me a lens of 1120mm lens which was still on the limit as the waves where a bit further out the assignment was  shot in one of the two locations , with this one being in Muriwai in Auckland  on a good surf day .
